EK SLAUGHTER

Born in Chicago, Illinois, EK moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee when he was 6 years old. He knew right out of college he wanted to be a high school football coach and began volunteering at his alma mater the spring of his freshman year of college at UTC. Shortly before graduating he met his incredible wife Arlene and began his teaching and coaching career in 2000. In 2009 he met a man named Robert Green that changed his life by showing him what it means for a man to truly LIVE a life of faith. In 2011 Robert baptized EK and his wife at the Lake Junaluska Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp. EK has been married for over 20 years and is father to two amazing children, Brayden and McKenzie. EK has been coaching High School Football for over 27 years, leading as a head coach for 16 years. EK also serves as a leadership teacher and in international missions where he is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Legacy Builders For Change. EK’s purpose on this planet is to boldly love others to the point of transformation towards the person God created them to be.
CJ CESARIO

As a Chicago, Illinois native raised in a low socio-economic fatherless home, CJ found his identity and value in being division I athlete. Upon graduating with his masters in Kinesiology and finishing his football career at the University of Minnesota, CJ accepted a high school coaching and teaching position in the Chattanooga area at the age of 23. In the Fall of 2013 through the emerging community of a male role model and the sports ministry, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, CJ died to his old self and became alive in Christ. Since that time CJ has served the past 11 years in various leadership roles; High School Head Strength Coach/Teacher, Collegiate Campus Director/Athletic Chaplain, Company Manager, and Pastor. Today CJ serves as the head football coach at Chicago Christian High School and assistant director of admissions. CJ's favorite role is being dad to his son Elisha Jude. CJ’s purpose on this planet is to powerfully love and passionately lead people to pursue all they are created for.
